Protecting Middletown Since 1859
Since 1859, the Middletown Fire Department has efficiently and effectively carried out its charge to prevent and extinguish fires, protect the lives of the residents and visitors of our community, and preserve their property. The Department safeguards a population of over 28,000 people living within Middletown's five-mile square area and answers more than 1,100 calls per year.
The MFD answers more than 1,100 calls per year — including structure fires, brush fires, motor vehicle accidents, emergency medical services, rescue calls, and a variety of public service requests. Our members train continuously to meet the demands of a growing community.
